1. Returns, Exchanges, Refunds, Fees, Credit Note, Extra Payment

1. All orders are shipped if paid in full, and the payment has been cleared.
2. We do not hold orders with the not paid in full balance for more than five(5) business days from the initial purchase date. An order can be on hold from 2 to 5 business days depending on ordered items.
3. Refunds are issued for not paid in full orders and cancellations within two business days.
4. If a wrong item is purchased, or the incorrect shipping address is provided, buyer must notify us within 24 hours. It is a customer's responsibility to purchase correct items and provide a correct shipping address.
5. Wise Tea Garden cannot be held responsible for incorrect contact information provided by a customer or any defects in activity of her/his email, phone, or other account(s).
6. A fixed fee of $2.50 is charged for cancellations of ready-to-ship orders, purchases with requested Expresspost and not paid in full, and is deducted from refunds issued for purchases of not-in-stock items unless a back order can be placed.
7. No fee is credited unless a re-order is placed within 30 days from the initial refund date and shipping costs are paid in full.
8. Payment for Express post must be provided within two (2) business days from the initial purchase date. Customer is solely responsible for issuing this payment on time. Otherwise, the refund is credited, a fixed fee of $2.50 is charged.
9. No orders over 1 kg are shipped if an incorrect purchaser's email address is provided. A fixed fee of $2.50 is deducted from refunds issued for these orders.
10. Any returns must be pre-authorized by Wise Tea Garden.
11. No returns for Tea and other food items.
12. The return must be done within 30 days of the initial purchase date, at your expense.
13. No returns after 30 days of receipt, including returns for exchange.
14. Non-tea items are subject of 15% re-stocking fee unless a return for exchange.
15. Return for exchange: an amount of a clearance fee paid by our shop at the post office to clear the return, postage paid for the shipping of an exchange package and a re-packaging fee of $5.00 must be provided within four business days. Otherwise a full refund is issued, a clearance fee is deducted from the refund.
16. No returns on printed materials, specialty items, and final sale items, including returns for exchange.
17. No returns for orders paid by cheque, money order, or bank draft.
18. Notification of a shipping error must be made within 10 days of receipt. The exchange must be done within 30 days of the initial purchase date, at no cost to the purchaser.
19. A restocking fee of 25% is billed against all returns not resulting from error on the part of Wise Tea Garden. For returns over $200, a shipping charge paid by our shop and total amount of given discounts are deducted extra.
20. An amount of a clearance fee paid by our shop at the post office to clear the return and handling & packaging fee of $7.50 are deducted from refunds.
21. A restocking fee of 40% of the net value of your order, postage and insurance paid for the initial shipment (for orders over $200 only), signature option if paid, issued discount(s), and the amount paid by our shop to clear your return at the post office are deducted from the value of an unauthorized or unclaimed return.
22. No refund for a shipping charge.
23. No reimbursement on damaged items.
24. No restocking fee applies to returns for exchange if there are no damaged items in the return.
25. In case of an unclaimed package, the returned shipment cannot be resent unless the amount of postage and insurance paid for the initial shipment (for orders over $200 only), coverage for a clearance fee, payment for shipping, full insurance coverage based on the value of the order (if required), and $7.50 for repackaging and a handling fee is not provided within two business days.
26. If required, a purchaser with a bad shipping history must provide full insurance coverage based on the value of the order within two business days, otherwise a full refund is issued.
27. No compensation is issued if an unclaimed package was lost. The purchaser is solely responsible for the claim of ordered goods at the post office within the time provided on the Notice of Delivery.
28. Claims for reimbursement are accepted within 60 days of receipt.
29. For cheque payments, we do not hold orders for more than 5 business days for Ontario Residents, and 10 business days for other Canadian Residents. Goods are shipped after the clearance of the cheque unless certified.
30. Packaging & handling is free for orders under 1 kg. A surcharge between $0.50 and $3.50 applies to orders over 1 kg.
31. A handling fee of $2.00 is is deducted from the refund issued for a combined shipment of multiple orders.
32. A handling fee of $7.50 is charged for Xpresspost and FedEx items shipped after 5 p.m. EDT.

2. Shipping Policy

1. All orders are shipped if paid in full, and the payment has been cleared.
2. If the incorrect shipping address is provided, you must notify us within 24 hours.
3. Wise Tea Garden cannot be held responsible for missing goods if an incorrect delivery address was quoted. Returned items can be re-sent at your cost, or a refund will be issued for undamaged items.
4. If your order has been sent using your FedEx account, a shipping charge, quoted at the time of ordering, is refunded in full within two business days after the delivery confirmation is received.
5. No orders over 1 kg are shipped if an incorrect purchaser's email address. A fixed fee of $2.50 is deducted from refunds issued for these orders.
6. Wise Tea Garden does not ship an item if there is an unauthorized return or an unclaimed package, which has been at the post office for over 15 days (10 days for Xpresspost items) in the purchaser's shipping history, unless full insurance coverage based on the value of the order is provided.
7. The purchaser is solely responsible for the claim of ordered goods at the post office within the time provided on the Notice of Delivery. No compensation is issued if an unclaimed package was lost.
8. No orders are shipped if more than one unauthorized return or an unclaimed package is in the purchaser's history.
9. Wise Tea Garden does not hold responsibility for delivery standards and delays in delivery.
10. Delay in delivery: neither Canada Post nor our shop compensate delays in delivery, including delays in clearance of items on the border.
11. Lost or damaged items/packages: Canada Post is a very reliable courier. You parcel is insured by the Canada Post, and you will be either reimbursed or we will resend your items at no cost for you. Your claim will be accepted by a Canada Post representative, and a case number will be provided. After your case has been opened, a trace officer will contact you within 5 business days to investigate the problem. As soon as the Trace and/or Claims Department will confirm the damage or loss, the reimbursement will be issued for us, and we will resend the items, which you claimed as lost, or issue a refund for the postage paid if you claimed damage.
12. No claims are sent to Canada Post until a written by a recipient confirmation of a correct shipping address is received by our shop.
13. No reimbursements are issued until insurance from Canada Post has been credited to our shop.
14. No coverage for non-traceable items. Canada Post do not provide isurance for a non-traceable shipping services.
15. Packaging & handling is free for orders under 1 kg. A surcharge between $0.50 and $3.50 applies to orders over 1 kg.
16. A handling fee of $7.50 is charged for Xpresspost and FedEx items shipped after 5 p.m. EDT.

3. Privacy Policy

1. We respect the privacy of our Customers and our right to serve, and to never use the Internet in any inappropriate way. Should you have to report a fake (phishing) email, please contact us.
2. No personal information is collected on our website.
3. No third parties are involved in a transaction or an agreement.
4. We do not store any sensitive information, except invoices. These are kept encrypted in our database for audit and accounting purposes, within 5 years of a shipping date.
